# Notifications

> Turn on notifications so eeva can flag recalls, warranties, repairs, and reminders — and fine-tune what you get.

Notifications are how eeva reaches you when something about your home needs attention — a safety recall, a warranty about to lapse, an update on a repair. Turning them on takes one tap, and you can adjust exactly what you're alerted about anytime.

## Enable notifications

During setup, eeva shows a screen titled "Get the alerts that matter most".

## Fine-tune your alerts

You can control each category — turn reminders on or off, choose what you hear about — in Settings → Notifications. See [Notification preferences](/07-account-settings/notification-preferences).
