How to scan an appliance

  1. Navigate to the Life tab and open ‘House’
  2. Tap to open Appliances 
  3. Choose the appliance you’d like to scan from the list, or add it if it’s missing
  4. Tap the edit button and tap “Scan label”
  5. Scan the label of your appliance
  6. eeva inputs the serial number & model number for you!
Tip: Don’t do all your appliances at once! Start with the top 3 that need the most maintenance. You can always add details to the others later — the important thing is slowly getting your house details into eeva.

Automatically sync user manual

When you scan an appliance label, eeva doesn’t just input the details. eeva will also fetch your user manual, if it’s available online, and automatically store it within the appliance page. 
If it’s not available, eeva will link to a Google search with the top things you need to know about your manual.
