Everything in eeva is built around four content types we call DENTs: Documents, Events, Notes, and Tasks. AKA the building blocks of your organized life in eeva! Each one has a job, and together they cover pretty much everything you need to manage your household.

Meet DENTs

A file to store and organize.Ex: Warranty PDFs, lease agreements, receipts

Events

Something happening at a specific time.Ex: “Dentist appointment Thursday at 2pm”

Notes

Something to remember or reference.Ex: “Grocery list,” “WiFi password,” “Veterinarian’s advice”

Tasks

Something that needs to get done.Ex: “Call the plumber,” “Buy birthday gift for Mom”

  • Assign to — Who you’d like to share the document with
  • Save in — Link to appliances, property info or a life area for easy finding later
Tip: Don’t stress about filling in every field! A task can be as simple as a title. You can always add details later — the important thing is getting it out of your head and into eeva.

Assigning DENTs to household members

Other than using eeva, the second best way to get the mental load off your plate is to share it with your household. That’s where assigning comes in!
  1. Create a document, event, note, or task
  2. In the “Assign to” field, enter the household member you’d like to assign it to
  3. They’ll receive a notification so they know they’re responsible
  4. You can view the status of the item within your shared account, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Linking it all together

Here’s where eeva gets really useful: you can link any DENT to your spaces, appliances, contacts, and other items. That means when you tap on your furnace in the Life tab, you’ll see the maintenance task, the warranty document, and the HVAC company contact — all in one place.
